Chester Bed & Breakfast is a perfect place to have your Wedding. We offer an outstanding location for a beautiful outdoor wedding for 5 to 150 guests, located very near Charlottesville, Virginia and the University of Virginia.
Our specialty includes a wide variety of wedding services and wedding planning to help you to create an elegant affair that reflects your hopes and wishes. We gladly take care of all of the details so that you can focus on your Wedding day. Most importantly, we will work closely with you to create the ideal budget and plan for your wedding. This ensures that small and large weddings get the proper focus and attention needed to make your wedding dreams come true.

Your Ceremony
There are several beautiful outdoor locations on Chester’s grounds that are appropriate for a wedding ceremony.
From the tranquil beauty of our rose garden or the peaceful setting of the patio pond to the front lawn shaded
by majestic trees, you are sure to find the place that fits your vision of the perfect outdoor venue. In case
of inclement weather, weddings are moved to the reception tent on the lawn.
In addition, there are several historic churches in and around Scottsville, many of which are available for
wedding ceremonies.
Your Reception
Your reception will be held in a garden tent adjacent to the main house. We can make your reception as formal
or informal as you like, from hors d’oeuvres and cocktails or a casual buffet to a full sit-down dinner.
We work with a select group of vendors to ensure that every detail is perfect. Our caterers provide fabulous, innovative food, experienced staff and delightful presentation. Our florists and bakeries bring customized elegance and taste to every occasion.
Lodging
So that your day belongs solely to you and is not interrupted by other guests, wedding costs include the
rental of the inn for the entire weekend. Chester Bed & Breakfast can accommodate up to 14 overnight guests. Full gourmet
breakfast for each guest is included in this fee.
